A friend came to me asking about advice for making a site for her flower company she does and wants a smooth and speedy one, does anyone who has experience and knowledge, and where to start and what site would be best for her to begin making the site?

 

With options for purchasing online, her own background theme, images, information and reliable?

there are a lot of bootstrap templates which are sites that are already good-looking and interactive, which cuts a lot of work. not ideal if you got 0% knowledge though

No one said you need to use WordPress to have an Ecommerce platform.

Build your own. Make it do what you want/need and cut out the bullshit.

If he was going to build his own why would he post on OSBot forums looking for advice... He obviously isn't so he needs a ready made platform.........................

If you're going to use a platform use wordpress. Just buy an SEO/Speed optimized theme that works with woocommerce.
