Gold Farming Macro Ban

Featured Replies

I am wondering how you get a gold farming macro ban exactly.

The only one i have ever recieved was strange.

This account had 100% never been botted on.

All i did was log in one morning and it was insta banned on log in.

I was running bots on my other computer but this account had never been botted. and i wasn't running bots on this computer either.

Some enlightenment  would be appreciated. Its pretty confusing how 07 ban systems work.

i would imagine if you're botting a lot of accounts on the same ip address and have multiple accounts logged on at once jagex will think you're gold farming, so even if you log on an account ur not botting on, its still the same ip address so they would automaticly assume

That would be my only guess also, and bans on the accounts you were botting on will probably begin happening soon too.

They might have seen your trades logs? Did u transfer a lot of gp into it or out of it?

All of these seem pretty plausible, however I'm sure that each bot window that is opened uses different addresses, allowing you to log into the same world from the same IP.

So the fact that you logged in from the same IP shouldn't matter too much.

Well, i wasnt trading anything over or anything i was on that account only in a world my bots were not in, and it insta banned so i'm not sure.

your ip might be flagged. As both your computer at home uses your router which both uses the same public ip address. when one of the bot on the computer which you are botting at is banned, jagex might see if theres any more account on the same ip and banned all the account too. As your non botting computer is also on the same ip, it might have been banned due to it too. happened to me a few times for the last month ban wave.
