Suggestion: A better more complex/random breaking system

Featured Replies

I generally have no clue what I'm talking about, but if pattern recognition is a concern when botting, the current break handler should be updated a tad.

Breaking every X minutes for X minutes with a random buffer of X is going to look really obvious after just 10 breaks in a row.

Ideally breaking would be based on an actual player playing, or just 100% customize-able by the user.

You could develop a breaking algorithm, and just have the user input how many minutes he averagely wants to break every hour. Then the bot could decide how to space it out.. Perhaps take a 2 minute break (without logging out perhaps), a 7 minute break with logging out.. And perhaps a 18 minute break as well for what ever reason.

Those are how I would break at least. A human doesn't break for 7-10 minutes every 45 minutes for 6 hours straight.

No offense but any "anti-ban" related discussion is usually unsubstantiated. In this case I can disprove your theory by playing legitimately and then structuring my play time against the "bot rules".

Example: Playing for one hour, then breaking for 20 minutes, repeating 7 times every day. I will not get banned if I was playing without the use of a bot.

There are "intelligent" breaking systems with bullshit like fatigue on other botting clients, but at the end of the day our "ban rates" are pretty similar. By creating these settings, I only perpetuate wild conspiracies.

If you suggested an alteration to the breaking system for some legitimate customization concerns (the common one I get is using local time settings), I'd more more open to it. Thanks!
