Do the scripts on the sdn do the randoms that pop up? or should I set it to dismiss all?

Its safe to assume unless stated otherwise, they won't do the randoms. Just set it to dismiss all. 

tbh i wouldnt set anything, i'd let the random just come and disappear lol

Just put it on dismiss to be extra safe
