Bot start up, update not doing anything

Hi,

 

So i opened my bot client up and it said 'update to v2.4.96', when i click update it doesnt do anything, it just highlights it like it does when you click it but stays the same... doesnt update it?

 

 

Any ways to make it update and work again ?
