Simulate F Keys with Robot

Featured Replies

Robot robot = new Robot(client.getClient().getBot().l() //<- #.l() is obfuscated.
					.getGraphicsConfiguration().getDevice());

			robot.keyPress(KeyEvent.VK_F6); //Magic tab (f6)

			sleep(50);

			robot.keyRelease(KeyEvent.VK_F6);

The 3 setbacks are:

  • Enabled user input is required.
  • The bot needs to be focused to ensure the bot receives the robot's key event.
  • As from above--if the bot isn't focused, there may be interruptions in other processes while the function is in use.

If someone discovers a circumvent/alternative for this, please post.

I'm not much of a coder, but this looks like your working hard. Keep it up :)

The only way to make this function applicable in the SDN would be to reflect the #getBot() returned class and find the BotCanvas function.
