Would it work if Jagex...

Ok, I asked this before  and I now know it would be illegal for Jagex to check to see if any botting material is stored on your computer when you log in or something. But, what if they re-wrote the terms & conditions and made it so you have to agree to them in order to play, and in that new terms in conditions, it stated that by agreeing, you allow them to check your computer? O.o

they wouldn't do it, their players would feel like their personal space is being invaded, it's why some people don't like CCTV camera in the streets

they know who bots. Not that hard to figure out whose a bot and who isn't. They don't have to check your computers.

I am sure there are some laws in UK that prevent them from doing this.

More than likely true, imagine if they were able, and willing to remove each and every bot from their game? The prices would rise at extreme rates. Not enough supply for one thing, and people would panic buy.

this ^

There will be some laws against this in most country's

Not going to lie illegal or not, I think jagex checks your system. I was searching the Web "Browsing porn" when i was immediately kicked from runescape. Whilst it gave me a warning message somewhere on the terms of not looking at adult material while running runescape.

Anyone else ever seen or heard about this?

^ i absolutely think they check. Who's gonna know if they do? And even if someone finds out that they were, it's not like you'll have a case against them. It's like reporting to the police for someone for stealing their drugs, it's useless.

HOLY FUCK THIS IS THE FUNNIEST THING I'VE EVER READ.

Jagex cannot look into what files you have stored on your hard drive. Simply because you have privacy rights.

guys wow dos this already so they could ,it would scan your processes in task manager
