Purchased VIP, not showing up or working

I purchased VIP last night and have already paid the 9.99$ however I have not recieved my VIP still and on my account page it tells me i'm VIP until 7-16-16 but I don't have access to VIP benefits of opening more than two tabs or the VIP tag on the forums

 

Edit : I canceled the renewal through the forums instead of paypal, which according to another thread says that it removes your vip status.
