  1. Simple question; How can I (if possible) override or otherwise cancel the login random even handler? I'd like to make my script both log out and stop the script, but as it stands the login handler kicks in before stop() is ever called, giving me a recursive loop of logging in and out.
  2. Do areas record the objects within them upon creation? While working on a script today I found that I didn't even need to use pathwalking of any sort because the client was able to pathfind to objects that I gave it to interact with, even when they were more than a screen's distance away, and I still haven't determined whether this was a matter of proximity or if it has to do with the size of my areas.
  3. I ran one account at chaos druids for a couple of months, about 8 hours every night in increments of ~180 minutes with ~45 minute breaks. I stopped botting druids and moved on to something else, but I've yet to be banned. It does help that it's a very old (way over 6 years) main.

Sounds like a bogus e-mail, I don't see why Jagex would warn people they're going to ban. Really, with as many people as they have, why waste the time?

Like the title says, is it a good idea to activate JAG?
  6. Bans are flying left and right today, I don't think it's as simple as an IP ban. from looking around at osbot and other forums, it seems that jagex has implemented a much better anti-botting system that we're not aware of yet.
  7. I was just issued a 2-day bot busting ban on my main, and would like to know what you guys think about leaving the account clean (and botting other accounts) vs. continuing to bot on my main. I know that the general consensus is not banning on accounts you care about, but I get the most gp/hour out of my main, and I really don't actually play runescape anymore; I'm just in it for some money on the side. Also, I saw a pmod attempting to talk to my bot while I was babysitting it, and ended up responding perhaps a minute or two late, and I suspect he may have reported me. Would this have gotten me the bot busting ban, or is this type of ban strictly issued by the anti-botting system? EDIT: Here's the info as to why the ban is not appealable, as according to jagex, though I don't relaly know what to make of it1: Reason: No Appeals Offered The system has analysed your account status and the severity of the offence and decided not to offer an appeal at this time. This does not affect your ability to appeal other offences on your account. New and very young accounts are less likely to be offered appeals as they are more likely to be throwaway accounts created by macroers, cheaters and scammers. As your account ages, you may find you are offered appeals for more offences.
