You just have to be careful about where you bot. Don't bot in high ban rate areas.

I used to train my defense with Experiments. 56XP per kill. (Although this is not an NPC) This method raised me from approx 80 defense to 87. Requirements: Creature of Fenkenstrain quest

Yeah. I'd say about 10 - 15$. Anyone could get those levels easily.
