+1 for Master Farmers please One of my accounts got banned within 40 minutes of doing the one at Draynor a week or so back.

Got a 1 day ban from Security Stronghold today. Had 14 day a while back before tree gnome yews got busted. Add a tally to Stronghold i suppose.

I only have 3 friends on my friends list at any time and I know all of them irl and every day when i log in there is a new person on my list that I did not add. I have been running malewarebytes scans on both computers I use daily and it is not catching anything. What do I do ?

So you're saying 2.3 works ? From what I've gathered for a few pages back people said it doesn't. Really hope you're right though.

@Xavier Just revert this to 2.2.... that version worked fine. No reason to fuck us all over with a version that doesn't work. You didn't even tell us what 2.3 was supposed to do. Or better yet make a version "2.4" that is the exact same as 2.2. But seriously fix this.

This is pretty scary sounding. The way I understand it is the scripts that are written and used by all of us use "hooks" to latch on to the Runescape code in the background and interact with it. They may not have been able to detect if you log in with a client but they could have finally developed the technology to detect if any of their code has been latched onto by an outside source. You need to understand that literally half of the population of 07 uses bots. There are as many bots as there are legit players. This is not a server issue, I would not load up any scripts right now until this is confirmed or denied.

I'm pretty scared to log in using the client when I get home. My account is currently botting combat somewhere and I've seen a couple of posts from different people saying they were banned within 10 seconds of logging in through the OSBot client, almost right as they load up a script. Put on top of this that someone had also mentioned that there were hardly any people on Runescape from the server numbers at the time a few of these bans were posted. Has Jagex finally figured out how to detect being logged in through an interactive client ? We all know that half the people that play 07 bot because the game is too tedious. Please post here describing what script you were using and what punishment your account recieved.

Is there anyway to turn off the annoying green text in the client ?

Just a heads up to everyone. One of the thieving scripts has key logger associated with it. It's either this one, Master Farmer, or Suicide Man. One of my accounts that I have got cleaned. Had a couple masks and a mill or two, nothing big. I know you're all going to say "oh you probably have a virus", no I don't I've never downloaded anything related remotely to RS outside of these scripts and the updates for OSBot. Be careful downloading scripts from people with low posts!
