I agree completley -b flax botting *facepalm* The amount of time you dedicated to this thread is less than the time it will take this guy to lose his two accounts to a ban and give up. Sorry for your loss.

The ban bar is permanent. Best of luck avoiding another ban because that account is a single report away from a 10,000 day suspension.

I recommend hitting flax @ Seers on a level 3 with no stats and a name like 12glk739at. If this wasn't an obvious troll to you when you first read it, don't bother trying to goldfarm. You're doomed. There are far too many people asking this same question on here and none of them realize that 95% of them will never turn a profit and if they do, it will be a small sum.

I'm a huge believer in regular bot breaks, but by that I do not mean 8 on, 6 off or 4 on 3 off. I have had excellent results with 1-2 hours on, 15-20 minutes off. 0 bans this last month. Choose what you feel comfortable with though. It's always a matter of time until the ban hammer nails you, and never if it will or not.

From my experiences with SSF, it can be used to make "scripts" that are very reliable with runtimes far longer than 8 hours. As mentioned already, it all depends on the logic that you add. For example: Many of the scripts you see being posted are very simple and can easily fail. They do not take into account how the script will handle situations that aren't exactly planned out and when these situations happen, there is nothing telling the bot what to do next. If one was to take their time and to plan for everything that could potentially go wrong, the SSF script would rarely ever fail, but this would require many hours of planning and testing. Hours that could be saved by spending a few dollars on a specialized script that works from the get-go. Short answer: If you want instant and mostly flawless results, go with a different script. SSF is a valuable tool for those that are patient and find enjoyment building their own scripts without having to invest the time needed to learn java.

Any botting at all can be considered gold farming anymore. Just read the forums - You'll notice very quickly that it really doesn't matter what you're bot is doing.

Summoning was one skill that I never fully got into when it came out, but I did see some reasonable use for it. I am a pretty strong supporter of keeping olschool rs "oldshool", but if summoning made a reappearance, it wouldn't bug me too much. Removing some of the WoWscape looking summons and keeping the benefits balanced for minor character assistance is a must though if it were ever to happen.

The best advice is not to set up a not farm. A small one maybe if you want to potentially make a little spending money per month. The time and effort investment is not going to be as profitable as you may expect.

I think the best solution to the goldfarming ban epidemic going around right now is to cut back on the size of your operation and assume that you will begin to lose accounts. Minimize risk with whatever methods that are commonly believed to be useful, like regular and frequent break periods. Enjoy the ride!

Considering even players using VPNs for Pvp alone were snagging macro bans in the past and many people are claiming Goldfarm bans from them now, I would use one with extreme caution and not with a valuable account.

Think of a vps as an online computer you can access through your own monitor and operate similarly to your own.

I have had this happen a lot. Usually the script interrupted by a scheduled break doesn't resume after the client logs back in and after a few minutes, your account will get logged out, activating the clients log in random. Its an ugly cycle. Try entering your account information incorrectly in the client and set it up for breaks. My bot looked like a brute force account theif this morning.

The "gottamakemadmoneyfast" mentality is rampant here. My farm is still operating 24/7 but its a slow and low yielding process. No billions here, but free farmer accounts/vps/and some extra twenties a month is fine.

I'd expect a permanent ban but hope for the 2 day warning ban. You should get a warning for just 1 connection.

Jagex figured out how to fund OSRS. Forcing gold farms to retool regularly. If you cannot turn a profit on your gold farm within a week, you shouldn't be a running a farm. Each farmer should pay itself off in 3-4 days max giving you the remaining days of its existence to rake in the profit.

I notice an improvement with multiple clients open and I have tried different variations. 1 bot per client seems just as good as a few per client, but better than all on one client. This is anecdotal, so do not take my post as complete fact and try for yourself.

They obviously went across the board and banned the accounts sharing your IP. Chances are that you'll be banned as soon as you get rolling again unless you get a new IP address.

Grab a piece of paper and write out a step by step guide for hunting chins. Open up the script, convert your list into an action list, then click execute. Proceed to fix the errors and soon enough you will have yourself a script. 100% customized to your personal needs.

While I consider the paid helpers a terrible reason to jack up the price of the script, I do agree with the price increase. This script is far too valuable to be cheaper than $25 because it is so damn simple to bot tasks that would otherwise require another premium script. Paid help is unnecessary because of the simplicity and will only water down how effectively this script can be monetized. If you feel the price is too high, save your money. It should be higher.
