  1. Thank you for any input. All experiences with this are welcome!
  2. Does being a member significantly reduce the ban rate vs being a f2p player? How long can a freshly made account last if it is a member account? Tell me your experience with this.
  3. The browser only requires https proxy to create an account and socks5 to play the game. The proxies I used had both. I did check the proxies on the browser after inputting the proxy and it all looked correct so I'm not too sure Do ya'll think I need to get virgin proxies? Proxies that had never been used before
  4. My accounts are getting locked. I'm using the same proxy for account creation and for playing the game. I even did tutorial island manually if that makes a difference in your ideas. Anybody got any idea why?
  5. Do you know if they "catch" accounts but don't ban them until later during a wave? Is that what I'm understanding
  6. Hey man. So youre saying it's unusual to see multiple accs banned at the same time? Maybe the waves are spread out enough to get a large amount of accs at once? and mine happened to land in the same wave, idk lol
  7. I am unsure. I've test proxies that were supposed to be socks5 but it simply said socks5 error when it tried to boot. The proxies I used did not say that, so idk what's going on.
  8. The proxies are shared between a max of 3 people. I tested the proxies and I always get a failed test. They should be working because if they didn't the osbot client would fail as well. I had bots from the same list of proxies that did not get banned, which makes me think it was not a chain ban but some other reason I don't know about.
  9. I don't know what went on but some accounts were banned within 10 seconds of each other, from looking at the logger. All accounts are using different proxies so I'm not sure what happened. Someone said once that jagex might notice the accounts were bots but not ban them until the next "wave" or somethin like that. Any idea?
  10. Can someone put it into really, super simple terms XD And about the osrs request thing..
  11. A lot of proxy suppliers have a limit on how many threads are used with the proxies. I don't know much about max thread count but doing a quick google search I get: "The maximum threads setting specifies the maximum number of simultaneous transactions that Proxy Server can handle." Transaction, I'm guessing, would be the same as requests. My question is: how many "requests" does osbot client / osrs have? Or how many threads does osrs require?
  12. I'm confused. Do you mean the same subnet as in all the proxies being the same? All these proxies are on the same subnet. Is this bad? And please explain why it's bad if so.
  13. Has anyone experienced or tested sequential proxies/ports? A supplier offers proxies but they're all the same proxy but with different ports. Each proxy has a unique port. Does Jagex differentiate proxies based on ports or will the bots still get chain banned if I used these proxies?
  14. Has anyone experienced or tested sequential proxies? A supplier offers proxies but they're all the same proxy but with different ports. Each proxy has a unique port. Does Jagex differentiate proxies based on ports or will the bots still get chain banned if I used these proxies? I might create a new post on this topic.
  15. Wow really? That's makes me optimistic. So you're saying you could have a unique proxy for each account you bot and if you gets banned you could, per se, recycle the proxy and use it again? You've had 52k accounts banned and the bots had yet to be banned at a faster rate?
  16. You saw the title, how many IP flags till instant ban do you think? Or what experience have you had with this? We're not assuming anything of the IP/proxy, it could be shared, dedicated, fresh/new, private, etc. How many times does an IP get flagged until they start to really catch on?
  17. This is what I had in mind but I haven't tested anything. I was thinking that a IP address changing every 5-10 minutes or through every request would be noticeable, but I really don't know. What if I created the account using the same location? For example, creating the account using https protocol with an IP in the New York area and botting the account using socks protocol with an IP in the same geographic area. So the proxy doesn't really change area, at least much, but it still rotates. There might be a proxy provider that offers rotating proxies that I'm able to pick locations of an IP for both https and socks. This is to say that rotating proxies would work just fine and not raise suspicion. The reason I ask is because rotating proxies tend to be a lot cheaper. More bang for the buck.
  18. Tell me your experience using rotating proxies, if you have used them. Are they better or worse in your opinion compared to static? If you used them, would you only use them after an account has been made, or during account creation as well? Are the proxies easily noticed since they are switching? More easily banned by Jagex?
  19. Does Jagex start to get familiar with how a private script is functioning? If they start banning bots over and over do they eventually catch on to how the private script runs or is this not how it works?
  20. I haven't done this before and I'm jumping in the deep end. Hope I learn to swim while I'm in!
  21. This is interesting. You've given me food for thought. I may have to do some trial and error to see how long it takes until an IP gets flagged. Is the only way to know if an IP is flagged is when accounts become insta banned not long after creation? I don't know what your suicide farm looks like but I was planning on starting around 300 bots that automate themselves. The plan was to pay for the data usage with proxies so that I get unlimited, which would be ideal for a suicide farm after going through numerous bots. I could look into just using a few private residential proxies to use under a large number of bots until the IP gets flagged.
  22. This is good to know. Thank you.
  23. This is an idea. What would you recommend for accounts per proxy? I also know of certain proxy providers that offer pay-per-usage deals instead of paying per proxy. It might be a good idea for a suicide farm. Usage as in data usage. OSRS doesn't use a lot of data.
