  1. I dont know 100% but i'm pretty sure a script that takes steps to reduce the likelihood of bans is the way to go Edit: forgot to mention that when it comes to this it probably doesn't make much difference, especially since some autoclickers allow you to select an area it will click in (so really small area so that its not clicking the same pixel each time) Edit again: after reading a few posts allot of people seem to think autoclicking is safer. Which i agree with now because I wasn't thinking about how the game detects when you don't use the default client (actually its jagex so wouldn't surprise me if it cant)
  2. I don't think we'll ever get a bot that can be run on our mobile devices, but as far as I can tell it'll be relatively easy to spoof the mobile game for use on the computer for botting. (and if the devs are to lazy to make their own we can just use bluestacks :P).
  3. Adding on to what i just said, its also down to the scripters. which would also produce scripts most likely much different from what jagex would be gathering data on. Since this is a unknown for them and for us. It's gunna be a cat and mouse game on both sides.
  4. We're talking about botting, and the only way jagex could gather data about botting on mobile is to monitor mobile bots. So if they "test" before release.. They would have to have a working bot on mobile to gather data from.. But even if they did.. A bot jagex would make would be much different then something a 3rd party coder such as the coders on osbot would do. So it just seems highly impractical for them to have gathered data on mobile botting before the release
  5. So jagex hired people to code a bot for the mobile client so that they could gather data before release? Thats what i'm getting from this and that seems very unlikely. Also, i'm not talking about botting on mobile, i'm talking about spoofing the mobile client on the computer because of the non existent "anticheat" that flags suspicious behavior for mobile, aswell as being able to bot for longer without raising any flags once they do have a functioning flagging system.
  6. I was under the impression that mouse movement had something to do with the flagging system they have implemented, my thoughts on this was more for people trying to fly under the radar as appose to suicide botters
  7. With the release of osrs on mobile drawing closer by the day, i've read a few threads stating that mobile probably wont have much of a effect on botting. But in my opinion that couldn't be further from the truth. Even if creating bots for use on mobile devices is impracticable.. That doesn't mean we cant use the release of mobile as a gateway to multiple new botting methods. For starters efficiency will skyrocket do to the simple fact that theirs no dragging a mouse around to complete tasks. Mobile bots can just instantly tap the next action because any legit player on mobile will be doing the same, the average playtime of a legit player will also go up seeing as they'll have the game at their fingertips anywhere they want. Another, most important thing to think about in my opinion is jagex will have no data on mobile botting and it may take them months if not years to have a properly functioning "anticheat" that will be able to accurately flag botting behavior on mobile. I'm no expert on the subject but as far as I can tell it would be relatively easy to make a client that appears to be on mobile for use on the pc. And getting away from botting.. The release of mobile will also most likely come with a treasure trove of bugs and glitches that can be exploited.. These are just a few of my thoughts.. What about you guys?
  8. Thanks for all the advice everyone, If i don't get banned the first few days into it I might start posting progress reports for anyone who's interested
  9. Can you explain why so that I can learn what mistakes I might make and try to avoid them
  10. This isn't so much a main I'm wanting to keep to play on as the main account I want to bot on as I learn more about botting and figure out what works for me
  11. well, is botting the way I plan on for 4-5 hours a day a good place to start? My main goal with this account is to see how long it takes me to get banned if at all.. And think about some of the things I did and changing my approach to see if it helps me last longer the next time. And if I keep enjoying botting as much as I do right now.. I'll probably invest in premium scripts/Buying private scripts in a few weeks.
  12. I was wanting to slowly bot a "main" from scratch, I was wondering what works for you guys in your own experience on attempting something like this.. My plan was to babysit it while watching shows, studying, etc I know that most people say 4-5 hours a day but this seems odd to me because i've been known to frequently go for 7-8 hours and pull all nighters and even the occasional 24-32 hour runs.. I've even spent 6 hours in the exact same location, gotten kicked.. logged back on and gone another few hours in the same spot.. Is that normal for a runescape addict or am I just a freak? anyway.. back on topic. I was going to bot a skill until i reach a goal i set for myself for the day then change to a different skill.. I was going to spend maybe 2 days focusing on 3-4 different skills then changing one or two of the skills i'm focusing on while one of the skills such as ranged/magic/melee i'm consistently working on until 60-70 then focusing in one of the other combat skills because that's how I play on my legit main.. Any advice/warnings/changes you think would help me would be greatly appreciated
  13. I don't really understand what you mean by either of those replies
  14. Also, I use my phones hotspot currently because no internet service provider is available so i have constant fps drops constant ping spikes that effect all the bots movements/speed drastically.. Is this something that would help with being detected as fast/make me more likely to be detected/doesnt have much of a effect Edit: Would botting things such as fletching/crafting/smithing/etc be better as appose to stuff like mining/agility/etc that has allot of interaction, therefor more data for them to tell you're botting
  15. I only have a max of two bots on a IP at once but I try to stick with one per ip
  16. I have a "main" that i bot on. I try my best to stay legit looking as possible on it.. My mentality is to expect a ban on it when logging on each time and if i'm not banned then thats just a bonus because I use it to supply my legit main with resources. and as for when I start suicide botting my mentality is to expect most if not all to be banned by the time I go to get the profit off of them, and if a few of them made it through the night, its a happy miracle
  17. I was just going to use a mule and then drop it for my main to pickup, and as for f2p or p2p. I was going to run f2p until i found a method for p2p that would both make profit while paying for the bond but also wasn't overused by other botters. I also wanted to start working on a main that I slowly botted up to 80's and 90's in all stats any tips on flying under the radar besides the common sense ones?
  18. I was gonna start suicide botting while I sleep/am not at the computer. Can I have some tips on transferring the gold to my main/Link me to a previous thread that touches on this subject? Thanks
  19. I've been doing this on my main since I first made it, All I did was add a little bit of random delays per click (though with how bad my internet is i'm sure just the ping spikes alone would do this for me) and i'm still fine.
  20. My appeal just went through.. Was expecting to have to wait till monday but atleast i know they work on the weekends too
  21. That was not my question, let me rephrase.. While my account is under review because of a mute. Will they be watching it more closely for suspicious behavior or does the fact that its under review for a mute not effect the chance of them catching on to me boting. I was muted for mocking the "ultrabots.net" spam at the ge. But it was most likely do to an automatic review looking for certain words triggered because of a report seeing as the "evidence" has absolutely nothing to do with it up to the last line.
  22. I got muted on an account I frequently (but cautiously) bot. I only bot maybe 2-3 hours a day on it and I babysit it the entire time.. So my question is should I tone it down for a few days while my account is in review or do you guys think it doesn't have any effect on it.. Hopefully this is the right section as this is my first post.
  23. I think they mean the error that the latest osrs update caused.. I'm not positive on this but is it the scripts that need to update? not the client?
