  1. These files were located in C:\Users\xxx. Mod/admin or somebody should look into it for its significance. I am only aware that it has something to do with random events with my character because of the dates they were created. Anyway, one should see if you have these files in that ^ path, and at least get to know whether Jagex is monitoring their random event activity. These files probably won't prevent getting banned but it most likely TELLS you what Jagex is up to regarding you and your accounts

  3. I'm talking about the 1kb files. I don't think that would slow down loading much. Also, notice how they stopped appearing after April 11.
  4. Look at dis http://imgbox.com/TxNNxW7N These files were created by Java/Jagex/Official client or RS, one of those. I got a 2-day ban on April 11, and never botted again. What I think is Jagex saves snapshots of how my character did randoms on my PC. I've been botting a lot up until then, and they must've been watching my account for a while. What do you reckon?
  5. Both accounts have the same credit card info?
  6. Got banned using SSF - was burning willow logs. They can definitely get banned.
  7. Yeah it seems like it it's working for me now as well. I was getting a little worried there.
  8. I haven't updated Java.
  9. Something really strange is happening. I can't access www.runescape.com. Not from official client, not from Chrome nor Mozilla. But TOR client works - it opens the homepage but it's very slow and I doubt Java will work on it anyway because of all the security integration for TOR. I tried the following so far: 1. Pulling the plug on my modem. 2. Disable/enable LAN and Wireless adapters on the computer. 3. Updated Windows. 4. Pinged runescape.com from cmd (ping request could not find host runescape.com, check name and try again). 5. Ran CCleaner. 6. "Troubleshoot problems" from windows explorer. 7. Restarted computer. 8. OSBot client says couldn't grab client parameters retrying in one second... but this is v. 1.8.2, I'm downloading the latest version right now just to see if I could go to the RS login screen. 9. Ran a virus scan and some other tools. Nothing came up. I haven't botted since 1.8.2, and I don't intend to in the future. It's really weird. Is this IP ban? Anybody know what's going on?
  10. I know that they have the logs of all locations ever logged in by an account. But I don't know whether they can identify an IP with cookies or whether they track the IPs of computers that use their account activation links. This is what you're dreading aren't you? I think you should PM someone with a greater knowledge in IP tracking. But even then, if it's possible to track you like that, would Jagex do it? I say your chances of being flagged and watched as a result of what you did is small.
  11. Here's a list of what you can do, which involves hard grinding: 1. Kill chaos druids for unids 2. Make steel bars. Then Cannonballs for even more profit. For some insane grinding and just as great profits, mine the iron and coal yourself. This method applies to all bars. 3. Pick flax. Make bowstring for more profit. 4. Cut oak at Seers or CW then make planks. Need cash though as each planks cost 250 gp to make. 5. Cut yews lol 6. Catch sharks. 7. Kill cows for cowhides. Tan them to soft leather for better profit. I guess since you're just starting, #7 is the best for now, because you need training as well. If you're botting, consider asking around the ban rates of these methods (flax and yews are instabans for all I know). Also, gp per hour is somewhere in the vicinity of 100-150k, depending on concentration or bot efficiency. If all else fails, try these extremely simple methods of making money: 1. Pick swamp tar. 2. Pick Snape grass. 3. Buy feather and sell for more in W1 (also applies to red spider eggs, eye of newt, runes, arrows) 3. Go to Hill giants in Varrock sewers and loot the big bones, then sell 4. Go downstairs of Varrock west bank and loot the respawnable gold there
  12. Probably not, if it's a 2 day ban they probably see you as somewhat of a legit player that don't farm, otherwise it would've been perm. Also, my account got mod bot-busting a few months after he got a 2-day ban. If I was flagged, I wouldn't have been banned manually. So based on this, my reason is that you don't get IP flagged with a 2-day ban.
  13. Master farmers are low I think... I did master farmers without breaks (like an idiot) for several days until I got a favorable thieving level. Cutting yews is suicide - unless you take good breaks and babysit (I think). This is how I got perm ban the other day.

Babysitting your bot is the best way. 1. Reply to other players when they ask questions. Join a clan chat, start conversations once in a while. 2. Do something else after you did something for several hours (quests, different bot) 3. Apparently the Prison Pete random is bugged right now so if you get stuck in there you'll probably get banned/flagged to be banned later. 4. Babysitting takes patience - but it's the price to pay for never getting banned. And it is totally worth the effort. This is the mistake I did with my other account. I always found it wandering, standing at some place, stuck in random almost every time I woke up... then one day got perm ban
  15. Thanks to Divinity for shedding some light on these issues in the chat.
