  1. As much as I want this, I can't get $1000. That's too much for me. OMG.. I just typed a long ass reply and pressed refresh when I was almost done.. put a ton of work into individual prices and links... all gone.. here Is what I can do for $600: Hard Drive MOBO Case CPU PSU RAM Video Card DVD Burner Thats everything except the SSD and Liquid kit in case I forgot something lol. I wasn't going to sell that cheap, I just want to rebuild bad, and I would love to sell most of it at one time as I work too much to fuck with trying to sell stuff Not gonna Lie tho, If you want me to send it ready to power on, I will put whatever cpu cooler I have lying around in it, unless you wanted to buy one and send it to my address for me to install, it's very easy to install a cpu fan though, you could add that in yourself, but it is something that you have to have. *Edit: I can get you the links if you want, its all in my order history.
  2. Would you be willing to buy a Gaming computer fully built, but a year old? I have about $1400 in mine, not counting monitor and astros, I could take out the liquid kit and drop it in a cheaper case for you. I am looking to rebuild mine. I can post pictures, and more info, but a quick rundown of it is: 3.7 GHz AMD phenom processor 500 GB Hard drive for media 16 GB DDR3 RAM (4x4) 64 GB Solid State for Operating System and other files that need to load quick Sapphire 1GB video card radeon HD 6850 DVD burner + current case has 2 empty expansions 600W Corsair PSU, all cables are wrapped in wire mesh The motherboard is a bit cheap ($60) but perfectly fine for the parts listed above + a little more room to expand, cant add another video card to crossfire though.. main reason i want to rebuild. * A side note on the video card, I mentioned That I cant add another, but it has 3 outputs that can all be used simultaneously(up tp 3 monitors/TVs), HDMI, DVI, RGB If you would be interested in buying the whole thing as it sits, I will go $1000 flat. The case has 6 different fans blowing in or out without cutting holes in the sides for custom fans, one massive fan on the top. Built-in Hard drive docking station, The liquid cooling kit is located in the drive bays and runs to the cpu. When I rebuild, I will be able to use the Case, Liquid Kit, and maybe PSU, however, if anyone wants to buy those along with other parts, I will replace them too, but since they are still of use to me, they cannot be sold as cheaply as the rest. If anyone wants to buy any of it, feel free to message me.. OP, not trying to take over your thread.
  3. I can't believe people are still posting here and haven't gotten to 50 yet... 8
  4. I have built a few computers. The BEST advice I can give is to buy with the intentions of upgrading, not replacing. For instance, get a $150+ motherboard but only 4 GB of RAM, also check the timings on the RAM look for 2k+.. I have 16 GB of slower RAM in my current rig. I made quite a few mistakes building it. You will probably never need a TB HD, but if you feel like you will, then go for it. As another member posted, try to get an SSD it makes a huge difference. If you cant afford a big SSD, just go with a 64 GB and put the OS and important files such as RS cache on there and put your media on the HD. Make sure that your MOBO is sata III, mine is II and i kick myself every day for it. Don't get a liquid cooling kit, they are expensive and a well-ventilated case will do just as much. Try to get a bigger PSU, you dont want to be stuck buying another later, and it's not a great idea to use 2 PSU's.. You dont have to spend $400 on a video card.. get a $100 card that is cross-fire capable (Motherboard has to support) and see what you think with one, if you need more, buy another and crossfire. Dont downgrade your CPU.. that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.. AMD vs Intel.. I'm not going to say one is better than the other BC of fanboys, 50% will agree and the other 50 will flame.. but I prefer AMD, I am using the Phenom II 980 BlackX 3.7 GHz out of the box. I prefer AMD because you can get a good CPU for a lot cheaper than the Intel equivalent. + AMD is better for multi-tasking.. flame-on. but If you want to spend a ton, get an I7 2600k. That's about all I have for you, good luck
