  1. I'll answer your question if you answer mine... What's your method? ;)
  2. I'm going to make the assumption you've had a past of being banned using OSBot. Point being, I've created at least 1-2 scripts for each of the sites out there, and OSBot has always been more player like, and that's even in a beta stage of a script. This just my opinion against yours of course, but I'm providing a bit of evidence/experience.
  3. Had an account I created back in 08, had a few minor offenses for language or some little crap like that. Was training my range legit, and then didn't play RS for about a month and came back to a bot busting permanent ban. Complete bs. Point is: if they are going to ban you, they will. Doesn't matter the offences made.
  4. Just depends on the type; different types of VPS' come with different perks. Linux VPS' are usually cheaper, but more difficult to set up and run things on. Windows VPS' are more expensive, but much more simple to use and set up.
  5. He's asking to use the getNPC method you suggested instead of the one he was using. Yes you should use Alek's method instead. That will prevent the tedious task of having to change your npc's ids every update (if they were changed of course).
  6. Dashboard claims to have added this to a future update.
  7. Yeah, I was referencing it as Keyboard.typeString("Hello World!");, thank you all for help. So I don't suppose we have a method - like setSpeed(); with the mouse class - for the typing?
  8. It'd be typing ingame, sorry for the confusion. However, I cannot use just keyboard.typeString("");, because I cannot make a static reference to the non-static method. So I declared Keyboard k = new Keyboard(); and then did k.typeString("Hello World."); Which gives me a nullPointerException. I might just be looking at this the wrong way, thanks for any help.
  9. What would I use to have the player type something and then send it? I've tried to use the Keyboard.getString("");, but that did not work. I've also looked into BotKeyEvent and haven't had any luck.
  10. Thank you both. Will look into the both of them.
  11. I took up a favor for a friend of mine. They are looking for a website for their shop that is mainly just a shop all in itself. I know this is going to be extremely easy, however I usually don't use web hosting control panels to create my website. I usually hard code them; the issue with this, is that they want to be able to edit their shop themselves once I teach them through a control panel. This still isn't going to be difficult, but I'm asking you that have dealt more with web hosting packages, or companies, what would be my best route here and maybe a price range? I was thinking GoDaddy, because that's the only place I've ever purchased web hosting from. Any other suggestions? P.s. This is a relatively small shop, they do not need a deluxe web hosting package. Thanks.
  12. Suppose I could submit one either way, it is not going to be harmful. Kinda devastated, that was my first real runescape account. Now that it is no longer mine to use freely, I have no connection to RS besides creating scripts to bot their game. Guess that'll be my way of getting even
  13. Even a chance of appealing the perm?
  14. Love the fast replies I attempted to change the links as soon as I posted but you're feedback was extremely fast.
  15. This is surprising to me, I had never had this account reported as botting before, and the time that I had been supposedly caught, I hadn't played at all in a good 6 months. They have no evidence pertaining to these bans. I can't be pissed because of the fact I have botted on this account, but it's extremely invalid at the time. Even worth appealing?
