It should say on the back of the card, maybe http://vanillavisa.com but it may be different on yours.
Registered the card and it says I cant use the gift card for this type of transaction. I tried buying the script itself and then a voucher. Neither worked.

They work for like 20% of runescape related websites. OSBot is not one of them.
Can you suggest another way to purchase on this site? Still trying to figure out a good way

This is not true you just need to register the zip code online first. I used to use them all the time.

I've tried to buy a voucher but it tells me the card was declined by the card distributor. The same message occurs when I try to use it when buying the script itself.

So I went and bought a pre paid visa giftcard and it also got declined any suggestions?

OSBot use Paypal to take card payments.
You need to contact Paypal if they are declining your card.
For now, try a different card and double check the details carefully.

This is a good idea. I'm having problems with my paypal account right now so it won't let me and funds. I'll try and fix the problem and try this. Thanks!
