Im a huge nub at this.. how do I know if my java is up to date? I checked the console but I feel like a girl looking under the hood of her car when it stops working lmao

I have had success running previous clients on my Mac but I downloaded version 2.4.43 and now I receive an error message when I try to open the file: "Java Jar file "OSBot 2.3.43 could not be launched. Check the Console for Possible Error Messages" Any Mac users have any suggestions? Thank You
