Had 2 accounts with bans so far (2 or so weeks), just testing the water in f2p. Back before the infamous legal battle in '11 or '12, I botted all 99 combat stats, 99 rc, 99 smith and plenty of others. That account is still standing, no infractions at all. Seems as though the detection systems have advanced considerably since then.

Good luck! I'm also a few months away from finishing my Bachelor's degree. Uni is a totally different beast compared to high school though, as others have said. You'll need to have some sort of revision system to do well given the sheer pace of courses.
