Not so easy to obtain a phone number though, especially the scammer's parents phone number. It might work in some cases, but in other cases its just a waste of time. Also, pretty sure a few of them parents you do manage to get in touch with wont be so hell bent on siding with you especially since, to them, you're just some random who could be pulling a prank.

Yeah, just as i said in my post, closely affiliated with you. Ordering food, for example, to a scammers house doesn't just affect the scammer or anyone who has anything to do with him. It affects people who have nothing to do with anything. And even then, when you have "harassed" the scammer for a bit. What have you/anyone else actually gained besides personal pleasure? Pretty sure the scammer wont be effected at all if you ordered some food to his house, it isn't hard to say i didn't order that and then get the food sent back. Worst case scenario is that his address gets blocked from food deliveries but that's about it.

There is a difference. It might affect others who are closely affiliated with you but in no way would being punished IRL due to something stupid such as stealing affect someone who has nothing to do with the whole ordeal. Its just a discussion, so long as you dont cross a red line with regards to what you say, then you're fine.

Are you sure that it will "only" affect the person in question and that it wont drag anyone else, who has nothing to do with the whole problem, in? For example, order some food to his place. That doesn't "Just" fuck with the guy in question.

Because that isn't the "right" way to go about it. If you steal $50 irl you get prosecuted/imprisoned or whatever. Punishing someone yourself isn't right though. Pretty sure if you punch someone in the face for stealing $50 he can get you in trouble too. Maybe, but will you really go do that to every scammer? Or will this only be towards the scammers you dislike personally?

Although that might be the case, its all if's and but's. You can "guess" if a user wants to scam but you cant back it up with any evidence until they actually do, amiright?

Doubt many would disagree on the concept, but plenty will disagree regarding it actually being implemented.

Not saying i disagree with you. I actually agree. However, me agreeing doesn't mean its acceptable by any means. What i was saying though is thats just the way it is. If you dox/harass a proven scammer, you'll be treated just as badly as they are.

You'd be no better than the scammer if you doxed/harassed him though.

1) It isn't really hard to do a simple google search on a user and find out what disputes he has against him/why he was banned. 2) No way is that happening. Probably illegal too.
