MDMA is one of the safest drugs around and to actually die from MDMA you would need an unreal amount of MDMA in your body.
There is a lot of information in this thread that is completely false and misleading and some that is actually dangerous if heeded.
MDMA is a non-addictive substance. The guy in this thread doing "1 gram a week" obviously has no will power of self control and is frankly fucking retarded for doing that. Dosing so regularly, in such high doses is not only bad for you, but it will be far from enjoyable compared to what the experience is meant to be.
Here is some of the best advice I can give to you:
1. Get a test kit - This is a must, test all your pills/powder using this and you then know if what you're getting is MDMA or something that could potentially kill you.
2. Keep hydrated; but not too hydrated - MDMA inhibits urine production, when too much water is consumed the body cannot produce urine so the water is left in your body. This can be fatal and this is what is known as water intoxication. You should drink enough water to replace what you sweat out. I find a 500ml bottle of water ever 90 mins, 60 mins at most is perfect. It can also be helpful to have a sugary drink to help replace any sugars and salts you have sweated out.
3. Take breaks - MDMA inhibits your body's ability to control it's temperature, this can result in overheating. Having a regular 5-10 minute break to cool down can be a great thing and reduce the likely-hood of hypothermia.
4. Take chewing gum - MDMA releases a hormone that is used to control the fight or flight state. This is what makes your pupils dilate and your muscles clench, this is most noticeable in the jaw and without chewing gum it is very easy to damage your teeth.
5. Check online - If it is pills you are using there are a variety of resources online at your disposal. www.pillreports.com is a great website as it allows you to search for your pills and pills in your area, users post reviews on the pills and recommend whether to take them or not.
6. Limit yourself - MDMA is an amazing experience so you want to keep it that way. Your body is an amazing thing and it can quickly adapt to the use of a chemical, frequent use of MDMA quickly builds tolerance and over time the same peak cannot be reached. I could explain how this process works but it is far too much for me to be bothered to type. Keep rolling to a minimum; the most you should roll is once a month. It is recommended to leave 3 months between rolling however.
7. Vitamins - Try to take vitamins the following days, multi vitamins and vitamin C help the recovery process and will help to keep the dreaded "comedown" at bay.
