It really depends. If you get banned for botting and email them they usually won't respond.A few months ago my account was hacked and resulted in it getting muted. I appealed the mute and waited a couple weeks but nothing happened. I then emailed Jagex about it and got a response in literally less than 2 hours and the offence on my account was quashed.
