  1. Welcome to college, where everything is subjective and if your prof is tenured, he can do whatever the fuck he wants
  2. Idc if I'm botting or not, it's just the behavior that bothers me. I can understand reporting people for botting, I ain't gonna hate someone for doing that, but this just rattles my cage.
  3. Some tool the other day just followed me around and said "Trade me if you aren't a bot." "I'm going to report you." etc. etc. So freakin' annoying, so I told him to go fuck himself. Not sure if you are supposed to just suck it up and play along with these nerds to prevent bans, because this happens all the time and I just don't see why I should satisfy every 10 year olds demands, unless Jagex doesn't really care if we ignore them or not when they report me, then I'll just carry on my way.
  4. Babysitting is the biggest. I have seen scripts that are AIO 100% working get randomly hung up all the time or stuck, being able to INSTANTLY fix that rather than it sitting there for 30 minutes just tilting the camera back and forth is pretty useful. Human interaction as well, it is probably very easy for Jagex to filter out all the accounts that have played for 8+ hours without a single word of communication in any form. As Swizzbeat said, switching up scripts (and also not botting for 8+ hours straight, taking breaks, etc.). It's really not that complicated.
  5. I got a 2 day ban the other day so it still happens, completely new IP though. Also I've only ever been macro banned once and it was years ago.
  6. Heh I know about that, I'm just saying I wasn't banned when I first logged in, then about 5 seconds after I logged in I was DC'd and banned. I heard of this phenomena before and it was described as being "instantly banned", although maybe they didn't understand how it works. I don't know why they would wait until you login to ban you rather than just banning you straight out.
  7. Thanks for the reply. Since you mentioned it, have any good/cheap options to recommend for proxies?
  8. Appealing botting bans is useless. They even stated in their Ban FAQ that botting bans are final and unappealable; they only ban people that "they are 100% sure are bots". Not trying to be a downer, but my old main has been banned for 2 years now for botting and the appeal was never approved/denied, no word, nothing. Read about how much they care here: http://services.runescape.com/m=rswiki/en/My_account_is_banned
  9. I mean when you log in and get insta DC-banned, like I said in the first paragraph, someone mentioned it in another thread, I was just curious if anyone could clarify.
  10. I read somewhere in a thread that you should log in the official runescape client the day after botting to prevent an instant ban. I immediately face palmed as after I started using osbot, even when I wasn't botting I would still use the osbot client because I didn't think about it. So my questions are: 1) What are these Instant Bans? Why do they happen? 2) How can you avoid them? If anyone could help me out that would be great. I didn't really know what section of the forums to post this on but whatever.
  11. Heh, didn't think it was that irregular. Idk if it was efficient, but back in the day I used to fish in Catherby (right after I got members), and then cook my fish on the way back to the bank. It's just one of those nice combo deals. As far as the separate cooking/fishing options, maybe unorthodox, but its not AIO so not too complex.
  12. Preface I wanted to create a sort of "AIO" for Catherby, not fishing or cooking, but just Catherby. I'm pretty new to the osbot community at least so I'm not sure what people's perspectives on newcomers are but they can just virus scan my files, test my bots, and then draw their own conclusions. About Me I have a decent enough background in programming, especially Java, so I am picking up things quickly. I have also been playing Runescape since the good old RS1 days (completed Dragon Slayer right before RS2 came out, man I was pissed about the reward changes to that quest), and I have been botting/playing on and off ever since across various platforms. Features *All Fishing Types Supported (in Catherby) *Dropping *Banking *Cooking after Fishing but before Banking (on the way to the bank) *Just Cooking (bank -> range -> bank -> range etc.) *Anti-Ban (of course) Current Status -Well, I just started scripting this 2 days ago so it is a bit rough around the edges right now. So far cooking has not been added, but the fisher actually works. I'll give a list of basically what is currently implemented: -Pathing (From the bank to the Fishing spots, as well as from any of the 4 fishing spots back to the bank) -Banking (Will deposit all fish when full, but not the tool) -Keep that Tool! (If there is no fishing tool on hand, it will get one from the bank, no requirements on where it has to be in the bank as it can get it from anyway) -Clean Paint (what else need I say?) So yeah, a working skeleton has been produced, and now I just need to flesh it out (I wish it was that simple) To Do -Improved Pathing (sometimes it will just get caught for a few seconds along the path, needs investigating) -Anti-Ban (already I have a million ideas planned for this and I actually plan to make this very realistic and randomized) -Cooking (all of it, although I do not think this will be very difficult honestly) -GUI (need this for user input on type of fishing, dropping/banking, cooking options, etc.) -Dropping (easy to implement) Future Goals -Real AIO Fisher (any type / any location) -AIO Cooker -Potentially some Fletching Stuff -Potentially some Combat stuff (as it seems there isn't much good free stuff around) **Thanks for reading, I hope people are willing to test this for me in a few days. I noticed other posts are always fancy and bolded with colors, but this should do for now, nice and simple; hopefully not too clogged up though.**
