So the client freezes at downloading file 1 of 1. as soon as i try to login. and i click install webwalking it just freezes and says please wait.

Sometimes it does take a bit of time for it to first initialize. I would let it sit for a bit and if it still doesn't do anything, delete it and redownload/reinstall. See if that works.
