My first script - Looking for feedback

Featured Replies

Hi there,

So I'm pretty new to this scripting thing, I've done programming before, Java, C++, Python, and I threw this together in an evening since someone mentioned they'd like a script like this.

This script simply does leather crafting, you need to be in a bank, needle and thread in inventory and leather either in inventory / bank. It'll make the best leather armour based on stats.

In general I tried to design this so that it could be easily extended with lots of tasks, and I figured this would be a nice way to get used to the API.

The script has had very little testing, but I think it shouldn't break *fingers crossed*...

I would very much appreciate any feedback biggrin.png

Have your loop return a number higher than 100. It will sleep for the number that you return and if that number is too low it will put lots of stress on the processor.

Ok that's been fixed now,

That return should only happen if all nodes fail to validate, in which case it should be idle.

I've updated it to 600, a game tick, however most idle events such as waiting for the crafting process to finish are handled separately.

Thanks for the quick feedback!

I need a simple script if you wana make me one, will even give you 1m if you make it well ;p my skype is Net_Gamer
