My problem is that this is my first time using this and when I try to open the downloaded file it will not open at all. I've used bot clients in the past and I don't recall ever having this problem.

Do you have java downloaded?

Yes, i downloaded java as well as the JRE that was posted in another thread i viewed. Is there a specific app that needs to open the jar file? i currently have it set to open up with java web start launcher  since when i first downloaded it it didn't know what app to use to open it.

Opening it with java does not work, I've tried all the possible java files. it does not work. I followed he video tutorial and when i go to click the osbot jar file in my download section it asks for an app to open it with. Ive tried the java files and none of them work.
