When someone is buying gold from you and they tell you they have a Verified PayPal Account.

Featured Replies

back in the day people would scam with unverified paypals all day long so having a verified paypal ment a big deal lol.

People scam with verified more now than unverified as they are a bit more likely to receive their refund.

I've done a fair amount of trading in my short time here, I have a debit card attached, but pp doesn't like my bank so I'm technically unverified.

Point being: Reputation means more than verification with paypal.

Wouldn't it be really hard to have a verified PP and continuously scam people? Surely they start noticing when you are constantly filing scam reports

To be honest, the whole verified status crap is just another way for PayPal to get access to your bank and credit card. If anything, they are just meaningless.

Been using unverified accounts and never had issues. You do get a sending limit, but add a VCC to that SOB and I am good to go just like a Taco Bell commercial.
