Help Needed : Account created on 2001 but was banned due to RMT on 2006

Featured Replies

Hi guys and girls,

The situation is like this :

1) I had an account that was created on 2001, played it for may be 2-3 years.

2) Stop using or logging in the account for may be 2-3 years. One day i used it to help a gold selling friend to "transfer" his gold (from A -> my account -> B ).

3) Few days later it was banned. (shocked me really, didn't use the account for years, login in to transfer gold for a few times, then got banned after a few days. How strict!)

4) If i am not mistaken, my account was banned on 2006 or early 2007.

5) I tried to get back my account via Runescape page, but i failed it that time, the reply said it was a permanent banned.

Is it still possible for me to get back the account? Wondering if Jagex has changed any policy since then. Thanks.

Yeah, RWT is legal now

Ahhh really?!? Guess i was away from Runescape scene for too long...

I will try to recover it and see if i got any luck.

Thanks.

Good luck on that lad! laugh.png

Thanks man. If i am able to get back the account, i would login and see if any of my friends are still there biggrin.png

But i feel the hope is low as the account had already been banned for almost 10 years. (Last time the game interface only allowed me to appeal one time, after they replied it was a permanent banned, the appeal button not clickable anymore. I will find out if i can appeal again).

My name appeared on the (2nd or 3rd, can't remember) Top killer list and Top 2000 lists. I really hope i can get it back, and then may be sell it tongue.png

It seems very unlikely Jagex will change their mind on their decision, but I do recommend attempting to appeal it again. It's definitely worth the try as the worst comes to worst, they'll say no.

Agreed man. Going to try it tonight.

The char is already in jail for almost 10 years, time to free him!

No luck.. i can't even get passed the retrieve password step...

They asked me to fill in everything to get back my password (those questions are kinky, asked me when i moved my house, on which month which year, etc. How am i supposed to remember as it was more than 10 years ago)

There is also a field to let me write down more proofs, i thought the staff would read them, but turned out they never read. Once i sent in the appeal, after a few sec i received email telling me my appeal is rejected, and in the email it said something like "One of the Jagex staff has reviewed my case carefully and rejected my appeal". That is obviously an automatic reply email and they never really read anything i wrote...
