I am curious about others insight on the effect of an accounts lifetime on its ban rate. My current main was created in 2008, and has over 500 day playtime in pre-eoc. I have used the account a bit in OSRS and bottled heavily. I received a 2 day ban at pest control, and have bottled 500+ hours since that point, and received no penalties. I have had multiple gold farm accounts get banned from the same IP, but my main seems to be holding up.

 

The question: Does the amount of time put into an account effect its likelihood of being banned?

Less likely for them to find patterns and what not if you are or have played legit on it.

Made a brand new account about 2 weeks ago, botted purely from tutorial island and I'm still going. Longest I've ever gone. I guess luck plays a big role too.
