Random.dat - Interesting

Found something out about random.dat
If you try and delete the file when you have the official client open, it will disallow this and say it is being used by the oldschool client

but if you try and delete the file when running osbuddy or stealth injection it allows you to delete it, which i assume means its not being used by the client
Could this be a way of how jagex is detecting if we are using a different client or not??
and does this mean, that mirror won't be as affective if not mirroring the official client 

Let me know your thoughts and I don't mind being told if I'm completely wrong, let me know that too!
