Paypal Help

Featured Replies

I logged into paypal today to find this. I have a couple of questions:

1) By not being able to send money = I can't purchase things right?

2) I was using paypal for about a year without any of this info required, what's the sudden need?

3) I don't really have access to this type of info, my parents will be like wtf?

4) What do I do?xR6qBjh.png

Same thing happened to me (long ago). I can still send money from my bank account and move money to my bank account. The only thing you can't do is move money from your bank account to your account balance.

It would be for you to verify your account, they do it to protect people from money laundering.

1) You can't use your PayPal balance, so no you can't purchase things.

2) You (probably) crossed the yearly amount of, I believe, receiving 1800$. Because of taxes criminal stuff blabla PayPal just needs proof of who you are, additional details.

3) You WILL HAVE to provide the additional details, otherwise the limitation on your PayPal account WON'T be lifted and you can't use your funds/remove bank etc. If you're underaged you are owning a PayPal account which you're not allowed to, so your account will be closed. You can get your money and you can remove your bank, don't worry about that.

Just send in your ID/driving license like you did and you can send in an electronic bank statement with your address on it.

4) See 3.

Question: are you underaged? Why was it limited? Do you have a negative balance?

Not sure about that then, but you're not allowed to have a PayPal account as a minor. Thus by sending in your ID PayPal will see that you're underaged and your account limits won't be lifted, neither will you be able to use your account again. Not even sure if you can verify it, since you need to be 18+. Do you have money in your PayPal balance and was your bank account linked?

Only 50c, I was gonna sell some rsgp now though to buy a script on here. My mom's bank account is linked to the paypal but that was only done so that I could use paypal being a minor.

If I were to make a new paypal acocunt, link it to the bank account again would this issue not be present?

You can probably even get that 50 cents back on your new account if you were to make a new account, but you have to be 18+. Otherwise you will have the same problem when you need to verify it, because they look at the date when you opened the PayPal account and what your age was back then.

You can email PayPal and ask them to remove your bank account, they will do it for you. But like I said, if you are gonna make a new PP acc you will have the same problem in the future.

If I get my account verified, by doing that charge of 1.50 they do on this acocunt, would I still need to give the info to remove limits?

Or if I made a new account and verified it by being charged the 1.50 would I not need to give info in future?
