If I got banned during 1-2 am Jagex time.. does that mean their system caught me and automatically gave me a ban? Or was it that my IP is flagged.. or both?

 

Just so weird that this happened, especially on an account that is years old to be perm banned the day after i start botting combat

Same. At 3 AM EST, 3 of my accounts were banned. 1 I have been botting with for 2+ months, and the others for about a month. Pretty random.

Yeah, I've recently started getting bans at 1-3am EST time.

It doesn't matter when you bot.  What most likely happens, is the system will flag an account then a jmod does a manual review on the account to decide if the ban is justified or not.  So in short...  When you get banned, doesn't reflect when you got caught botting.  A ban at 1 - 2 AM GMT does not mean it was an auto ban, Jagex often uses delayed bans so the botter does not know what they were doing that got them caught.  So, most likely it was not an automated ban by the Jagex system, most likely the same process as I described above happend, just the JMod put a delayed ban onto your account instead of banning you right then and there.

I'll specify.. this was using mirror mode, 1 bot, using czar's flesh crawler script.. it was after jagex hours when i started as well

3 AM EST = 9 AM GMT (Which is the time Mod Weath steps into office)

 

P.S. for those that don't know, Mod Weath is the main bot buster for old school.

Well mine was 1-2 am est which is 6-7 am gmt.. thats hella early lol

Might be a delay ban as to not give away what script you were using when you got banned?
