In theory, the more gold there is, the higher the prices of items will go.

 

If there is more money available in game, the prices of items should rise due to inflation of the value of one GP.

 

In theory yes, but since people are botting and these bots are not getting banned - items they are producing will fall - have a look at yew longbows, dropped 30% last 3 days due to a massive increase in supply
