That would definitely change the IP, but as soon as you get banned on that IP, you'll probs need a new one

Yeah, except OP said it was in 2008 and back then Jagex's bot catching system were so bad. I was botting many accounts back then and would get away with it easily. Plus it doesn't make sense to flag an IP for 7 years. That seems kind of ridiculous.
