There will probably be times when resize mode is better to use, like at bossing, doing jad, lava dragons, etc. But I don't think it will lead to more bans. Playing 07 on a 40" TV is amazing and it makes me feel I'm actually there. With questing and PvM'ing it's amazing too because you see a lot more.
