I'm going to get back into scripting bots hopefully and want to know if I use a throwaway account to test the scripts if they will ban my other accounts too?

I've used CyberGhost and Hotspot Shield. They are both easy to use and quick.

Others available are SurfEasy and Tunnelbear but these have download caps so I don't use these.

if you're botting on other accounts at same time on the same ip and one gets detected, all the accounts tend to get banned ( at least in my experiences ) 

but if they're not online you should be fine XD

Nah you won't. However if you bot on your other accounts on the same IP, the chances will be higher that those will get banned later on.
