Ban chance as member?

Featured Replies

So I just gave a bot of mine a bond. Now that he is a member, what are the chances of getting banned?

I'm going to mainly focus on woodcutting and maybe combat too. Ideas?

dont bot the same thing every day for 12 hours straight. mix it up

I know this, but still, what are the chances of getting banned? Are they lessened?

hmm dont think so , if u bot then expect a banhammer sooner or later tbh

Yes it lessens the risk when you are member (they usually crack down on f2p bots a lot more) but by all means it does not mean you will not get banned. However, if you are going to be using mirror and a good premium script, your ban rate will be very low.

Probably doesn't really help that much to be a member since Jagex most like uses the same detection methods for both free-to-play and members.

I know I will get eventually banned. I'm asking what the chances are.

Most likely the same.

It probably depends more on the scripts you use and how long you bot for rather than if your a member or not.

You think so? I figured they would be more lenient towards those who pay for membership. Maybe it is less as I have access to places that not many people are at?

There are most likely more bots in free-to-play than in members, that's why you would hear about free-to-play bans more than members being banned. Plus free-to-play is a much smaller map space, so there are less places

to search and most bots are all huddled together in a small area because they are running the same script.

I'm not an expert but that's just my guess.

I'm in computer science and I know if I was Jagex and I was writing the code to search for bots. I wouldn't

treat free-to-play and pay-to-play bots any differently. It's all same.
