How many bots do you think this computer could run? I have a hard drive, optical drive, and power supply that can be used in the build so that is why I am not looking to buy another set. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

upgrade to the AMD FX 8350 instead

About $600 but I would not need storage/power supply

That looks good, but for me I would just get a basic video card + get 16gb ram. Thanks for the build!

Yeah just get a 5450 or don't get one at all, then just upgrade the ram.

Yeah i agree with that...there isnt a need for liquid cooling on that computer so put that extra money into something else.

Well with an old phenom ii x6 i could get 15 bots, and go with a fx8350, 20-25 bots should be achievable.

Since AMD chips tend to run hot, liquid cooling isn`t a waste.

fx8350 is fairly similar with i5-3570k in gaming (Some games better, some worse), but would be better for botting runescape, rendering, photoshop ect.

probably around 10

maybe more, but remember more cores does NOT = better

Well it depends...

More cores can run multiple processes parallel.

If you are running 1 program which takes a lot of cpu it doesn't matter.

If you are running a lot of small prcesses it will improve your speed very fast wink.png

grtz

H0ppy

I would recommend the 8350 over the 8320 mate. Get rid of the liquid cooler and upgrade to the 8350.

Or you could go fanboy mode like the intel users above and spend all your budget on a 3770k that will perform ever so slightly better, lol.
