dixu Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 So basically I played Runescape a lot back around 2008, before EoC. Back then I happily botted few accounts at a time on one computer, no proxies or VPN or anything. I botted safely though, 10 hours a day with good breaks and sometimes babysat. Now I come back to oldschool and within 2 days I had 2 accounts banned, even before the 24 hour trade block expired. I didn't even bot hardcore but relatively safely, I even babysat like half the time I botted. Now I have one main that I somehow got through the trade block without getting banned, but I also stopped botting on that account and try to make money on another bot account. The question is, what advice would you give to me? I'm a casual player and only want to bot my accounts for f2p pvp. Also I'm a broke student and don't have money to spend on this hobby, so no premium proxies and such. Thanks in advance
yoiaintkare Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 I would suggest using an account that previously existed (at least a few years old); Jagex is largely going after newly created accounts. I've been botting Oldschool for about 2 years and have yet to have an account banned.
TapOrSnap Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 I believe you're aloud to bot 2 accounts without being a VIP member, however I wouldn't suggest doing so unless you're using a proxies. You said that your budget is low which I understand, but without proxies and mirror mode it makes it very hard to get away with it.. I started to read on forums about these tools and started to use them, ever since everything has been fine for me. As well as what Yoi said, there's a lot of attention towards your account if it's freshly created, botting an older account would be ideal. But there's always that risk :p
