Unable to start OSBot - Failed to load database module

Featured Replies

Hello,

I wanted to try out the OSBot but I'm having no luck running the program at all (on Windows - I'm able to run it on Linux).

I'm using Windows 7 64-bit with Java version 1.7.0_25 (which is the latest), both 32-bit and 64-bit Java versions installed. When attempting to start OSBot it fails:

C:\>java -jar "osbot 1.7.17.jar"
//***************************************************************************\\
   OSBot Bot
   Copyright (C) OSBot.org
   Running Windows 7 on a(n) amd64 architecture
   Java version is 1.7.0_25

However, running it inside VirtualBox (Linux Mint 14.1) works just fine - and it runs on a much older version:

martin@min-vbbox ~ $ java -version
java version "1.7.0_09"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea7 2.3.4) (7u9-2.3.4-0ubuntu1.12.10.1)
OpenJDK Client VM (build 23.2-b09, mixed mode, sharing)

What can I do to solve this issue?

PS: I'm loving this! The game feels like back in the good days and I'm already working on my own script.

EDIT: Could this be because my user folder name contains non-ASCII characters (Č,ř, a space)?

Delete the OSBot folder and try again

Start>USER>OSBot
