Aloha
Should be able to hold plenty. I would say around 12. Depending on the script. Edited January 5, 2015 by Koviak
TwitchFast
First off it's not 8 cores/8 threads, it's 8 cores and 16 threads unless they disabled hyperthreading, which would be extremely stupid of them. Also because they're old xeons, don't expect them to perform amazingly... I would say at least 16 bots to a max of 35 or so.

I had a similar dedi and it would not do nowhere above 20 without crashes and heavy delay. Running sub-moderately at all times.

Running sub-moderately at all times. Given 16 threads, it will easily handle at the least 16 as it is essentially 1 thread per bot. I severely doubt a dual socket xeon server cannot handle above 20, to my knowledge that is on par with an FX-8350 which is a single CPU with 8 cores clocked at 4GHz. I dont think it has 16 threads because the one below it says it has 16 but not mine.
TwitchFast
I dont think it has 16 threads because the one below it says it has 16 but not mine. Just made sure, the older xeons don't appear to have hyperthreading, or at least that one doesn't. In which case I would expect between 8 and 16, a dual socket server would have a considerably amount of multitasking potential.
