i had bsod too on my other comp, but i had so many programs there that i couldnt realize which one was causing it lol, then after a while my comp died off(after tons of bsods my comp just was stuck on the launch screen, and i had to take it to the repair station,  had windows 7 on it etc) after i got it back, i had windows vista on it n sht,

eset antivirus which shows % of how safe a page is, which is pretty cool thing if u ask me.

well idk how to help ya.

I'm confused as to why you think it might be the GPU.

You can pull your GPU out because your processor is an APU, meaning you can tell if it is the graphics card or not.

The 280 is a good card, 500w should be enough for your system as well.
