Expiration of botting bans

Featured Replies

So, I recieved my two-day ban for botting a very long time ago and then stopped botting since I didn't want my main account (made about 9 and a half years ago) to be permabanned.

The message you're sent when you get your two-day ban warns you that the next botting ban you receive will be permanent.

Does anyone know if that statement is 100% true? If the ban expires and my accounts "ban meter" (or whatever Jagex calls those bars) is reduced back to 0, will another botting ban still net me a permaban? Or will it instead just give me another two day ban?

next is perma ban, it doesnt expire... mine says it has 'expired' but the ban meter is still half way up the scale :(

I am not sure but i heard somewhere that they sometimes give a 10day ban after the 2days.

Not sure if this is true!

Yes that message is accurate

Statements above you are false. I've received a 2 day ban over a year ago. A year later, I received another one and WAS NOT permanently banned.

is it true they could expire? and my perm banned acc will be unban?? please say thats true haah

I doubt it. I'm in the same situation as you are. I hope our perm bans will expire when our bot busting offenses expire lol
