What Should I Look For In My Pc?

Featured Replies

I play an online game called 'Oldschool Runescape' it is not a game with good graphics. I have been using an alienware for the last year but I need a second computer so I can play the game on more accounts.

I need a computer which allows me to run lots of java clients. My current one will run 11 but always running at 100% CPU usage and will lagg.

Would it be best for me to get a i7 gaming pc again or a workstation with an xeon 8 core processor.

If you could help me out let me know on what specs to look for.

Either get a server and run all your accounts on that machine or build a pc with a shit gpu and stellar cpu/ram.

Waste of money to buy a gaming pc, overpaying for a graphics card you won't use in runescape.

I control all the accounts myself so a server isnt an option. I need to play on as many accounts as possible

I'd appreciate it if you could specify a budget, chances are you're better off with an extreme edition i7 as opposed to a workstation CPU, Xeons are expensive for features you will never use.

I meant a physical server. Its just a beast ass rig meant to handle a lot of processing. What's your budget?

I push my i7 to the limits everyday playing on 11 accounts at once. Would an xeon be better?

If you have a 3k budget, build your own tower server with a dual CPU motherboard and a fuckbucket of ram. If you have money left over get some SSDs

Not looking to build one. Looking to buy a computer and have it delivered

@twitchfast has the best suggestion. putting the components together is pretty simple. Plenty of tutorials on youtube. If you can bot 11 accounts, you can put together some parts.

That looks good but I dont know how to build a PC =]

If you are willing to learn, I can link you to reputable guides and you can message me via Skype if you have further questions.
