ProtectedForum Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 lets put it this way 1 bot is around 500MB if i remember correctly 8GB = around 15-16Bots max but your processor cant handle that at all you need a better processor if you want to run larger amounts of bots.
Phoenix21 Posted July 24, 2014 Author Posted July 24, 2014 Which processor would be good enaugh to run 15 bots?
TwitchFast Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 (edited) http://pcpartpicker.com/part/amd-cpu-fd6350frhkbox http://pcpartpicker.com/part/amd-cpu-fd8350frhkbox Either of those should do fine, though I'd probably want the FX-8350. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-bx80646i74790 ^ If you want to stay with the same motherboard. Phoenix21 Posted July 24, 2014 Author Posted July 24, 2014 (edited) But the speed of the processor suggested is only giher by 0.1 GHz. ANd it has the same number of cores! Edited July 24, 2014 by Phoenix21
uupiits Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 But the speed of the processor suggested is only giher by 0.1 GHz. ANd it has the same number of cores! Ghz doesn`t matter these days
ProtectedForum Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 the GB won't matter just try to get a powerful cpu processor and do some research
TwitchFast Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 But the speed of the processor suggested is only giher by 0.1 GHz. ANd it has the same number of cores!A 1GHz processor can be just as powerful if not more so than a 2GHz processor, it's entirely dependent upon the architecture. AMD typically has a weaker IPC than Intel, so Intel will have lower clockspeeds.
Phoenix21 Posted July 25, 2014 Author Posted July 25, 2014 Assume I can now run 6 bots with thios CPU. How many do you think I will be able to run with new CPU?
Phoenix21 Posted July 27, 2014 Author Posted July 27, 2014 Great So how much stronger is the new CPU than previous one?
YOLOtrap Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Look at the web and you can see the entire comparison...
