Anaesthetic Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 (edited) Hi all, I recently discovered my Dad's old record collection in my garage while cleaning it out. I browsed through it for a bit and decided that I was going to start my own record collection. His collection fills 2.5 boxes (pics will be attached asap), collected over about 40 years. I was wondering if anyone else has a large collection and can offer me good insight as to what the normal prices are for records, what good record players there are, and which gems I should be looking for. I went to my local record store looking for "Led Zeppelin I", Pink Floyd's "Piper at the Gates of Dawn", and Nirvana's "Bleach." I was only able to find "Bleach", and I'm wondering if anyone could maybe recommend some good online stores where I could purchase records I can't find in stores. Anyways, any advice would be awesome. Feel free to post pics of your collection below or pics of your personal favorite records. I'll post some pics in a bit.
