Problem with Local Scripts

Featured Replies

After I download a local script and look at it in notepad it seems there is something wrong with it (which prevents me from using it). There are random symbols everywhere such as this: n¶‰Ù¶¶‰Û¶¶’. What do I need to do to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

What script is this?

I tried two different scripts, both with the same result: Andes Fighter and Rc Killer.

I'm pretty sure both scripts are downloaded as java archive files meaning you can't open them with notepad.

You can't open a jar file in notepad. If you want to take a look at the code of a jar open it with winrar and you'll need a class decompiling program.

I don't think that would be whats stopping you from running them.

ive used the same script the only problem is that the RC killer does not come in a java file so i just copyed all the files into the script folders

wich adds the rc killer to your local scripts

Hi!

You can't open Java files in Notepad. To view the content, you must use some sort of decompiler. Opening a java file in Notepad will only cause you to see gibberish binary.

Why do you need to open the script up in notepad? Are you trying to strip the code? :D Just leave it as a .jar and put it in the scripts folder. (Start>USER>OSBot)
