Tips on making thread layouts.

I'm pretty confident with most of the stuff I make, except thread layouts. It seems like for some reason, I can never wrap my mind around making it look nice and neat. I need some tips or resources to assist me.

You should try experimenting with more tools, Even if it doesn't look neat, play around with the colour scheme to make it match ect...

 

Also, get some nice fonts ;) It really helps!
