If you can afford it, I'd definitely suggest the sara sword. Prayer bonus + good strength training.

 

But if you insist on going in that setup, I'd go with the book. The strength difference isn't TOO high, but 5 prayer bonus difference is considerable. Good luck at the nmz though.

do monk robe bottoms give better pray bonus then init plate legs?

Like ashes said or even buy a Saradomin godsword because of its special attack. Just keep an eye on the power surge, so you can spam the special attack. This will regain your prayer without using any prayer pots. Gl training

Mate you forgot the work of rune defender , it isnt only str bonus , its also 10+ attack bonuses
